Walk Along The Famous Pathway Of Love In Liguria!
Via dell’ Amore is a trail along the rocky cliff coastline between the towns of Riomaggiore and Manarola (in the picture) in the Cinque Terre region.These two towns were relatively isolated until the last century, where young people generally married partners from their own towns. However in the 1920’s a trail was built between the two communes and teenagers began meeting with their peers from the other town and used the trail as a meeting point.
Hold hands as you walk along some of or the entire coastal ten mile walk and gaze out upon the magnificent Tuscan sea. This would be a lovely place to walk along during sunrise or sunset and could certainly be an ideal spot to get down on one knee or simply declare your love for one another!
