Visit The Tiny Country Of San Marino In Italy!
San Marino is the third smallest country in Europe with the state of Vatican City in Latium, Italy and the State of Monaco in France being smaller. In 2008, San Marino was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list for its uniqueness, rich culture, historical and scenic values.
Head to the North-Eastern side of the Apennine Mountains where the tiny enclaved micro state of San Marino is located! Known officially as the Republic of San Marino, this tiny country is just over 61 square kilometres in size and has a population of approximately 32,000 people.
A worthy activity during a visit here would be to climb to the summit of Monte Titano in San Marino. At a height of 741 metres above sea level, the views from the peak of this mountain are simply breath taking! Read more: http://www.italy-villas.com/to-italy/2015/must-see-attractions/san-marino
