Hong Kong is a small densely populated country with a booming economy; the result is the attraction for a huge number of people to gather there and hence the rentals are quite expensive. The tourist community is challenged to find reasonably priced accommodation. and one way to significantly reduce the cost of your stay in Hong Kong is to plan way ahead of time to cut the cost. For example, Bishop Lei International House is a reasonable choice for  visitors. It is situated at 4 Robinson Road, Mid-Levels. The hotel features small (sometimes very small) rooms, but the magnificent views over Victoria Harbour, the convenience of the location and the outdoor swimming pool – a blessing during the hot Hong Kong summer months. The hotel is a local institution, run by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong and pitched at budget business travellers who walk into Central each morning. One needs to book well in advance for good deals, or scour the aggregator websites. The rent for the doubles start from HK $650 (£55).
