The superb city of Sanremo in Liguria is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy! It’s situated along the coastline in North West Italy and is part of the gorgeous Italian Riviera. Head deep into the medieval centre of Sanremo, called La Pigna (in the picture). This is a pedestrian only area so tourists can walk around at ease admiring the old buildings and browsing around the charming stalls selling local foods and crafts.
