Sorrel is small, creeping weed that occurs in grassland habitats throughout Europe, in Central Asia and in almost all US states.

The leaves are very rich source of potassium and vitamins C, B and K. Sorrel makes the ideal base for green salads, soups, sauces and omelettes.
