Not traditional camping gear, but in the heat some moving air is a little relief. So for the people packing a battery pack like Goal Zero, car campers, or use a house battery and have to watch you power usage this 12 volt fan might do the trick. I picked this up at Walmart but saw it on Amazon under the name Hopkins, same price both places.

It’s a fairly compact size and designed to fit into a cup holder in a car. It is easily packed since there are no clamps protruding out to the side or 5-7″ fan blades creating wasted space around it.

It worked really well. In my opinion it moved more air than the traditional clip on 5-7″ish oscillating fan. It only has a high setting, which is pretty loud. A lower, second, setting would be nice. It doesn’t oscillate, but it’s suppose to be for close proximity use so oscillating would add to much to it’s function.

The pictures below are how we used it this weekend in our Teardrop trailer. I hope these hold up and last a while. The interior of teardrops are a little tight and not a lot of options for mounting and storage, but these fit the bill with little compromise.

I saw this at Walmart and blew it off, but you say it works? Have a little Casita I would like to use it in. Thanks for the heads up!
