DANGER: KANGAROOS CROSSING

DANGER: KANGAROOS CROSSING

It’s something that happens to just about every driver who clocks up enough miles in the Australian outback. You’re in the middle of nowhere, cruising along at what you think is a safe speed. When suddenly a kangaroo leaps out from the scrub at the side of the road –  directly into the path of your car.

A collision with a kangaroo on a lonely outback road is the opening scene in my novel SORRY TIME. The car is totalled and the badly injured roo has to be despatched with a tyre lever. It is the starting point for a chain of events that see the driver of the wrecked car, young doctor Jonathan Chaseling, crossing bloody paths with a pair of violent criminals.   Look out for SORRY TIME at your book store or online from early 2017. Meanwhile, you can check out this YouTube clip showing a research trip I took to central Australia for SORRY TIME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc2fdwjw1Go
